The Founding Team

DealmakeHers was founded by three executives who have helped foster deals in the space for years: Mary Ann Domuracki, managing director, MMG Advisors; Stacy Berns, president of Berns Communications Group and Stacey Widlitz, president and chief international store hunter, SW Retail Advisors.

Mary Ann Domuracki was recently named as a 2020 Most Influential Women in Mid-market M&A. She is a Managing Director at MMG Advisors, Inc. and brings strategic consulting and mergers and acquisitions experience for leading global companies. Mary Ann also had operational and management roles including positions as President of Danskin, Inc. as well as advisory experience with Financo and Ernst and Young. Mary Ann was instrumental in Wacoal’s acquisition of Lively and Eveden, and many other deals. Ms. Domuracki is on the Advisory Board for LIM College, the TMA and it’s Committee to judge annual TMA award winners, and is a member of the American Apparel & Footwear Association. She is a frequent speaker and has addressed Opus Connect, ACG’s forum on M&A, and the Debtwire Debt Forum.

As the Founder and President of Berns Communications Group (BCG), Stacy Berns connects the worlds of retail and technology globally, bringing to market new retail fashion trends and technologies that are shaping the way consumers shop today. Founded in 2002, BCG is uniquely positioned to connect these sectors by leveraging our relationships with CEOs, media and our Retail Influencer Network, a select group of retail and fashion insiders that includes some of the most powerful voices in the industry. As a female founder, Stacy is passionate about and committed to mentoring and empowering executive women by creating events and platforms that support networking and education. She also serves as a board member of Delivering Good, a nonprofit dedicated to providing new merchandise to people around the world impacted by poverty and tragedy.

Stacey Widlitz is a leading consumer expert with more than 20 years’ experience analyzing global brands and retailers in North America and Europe. A former Wall Street Executive turned Entrepreneur, Stacey is the Founder and Chief International Store Hunter of SW Retail Advisors, a data driven Independent Research Firm with offices in London and NYC. The firm advises hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity and select corporates. Prior to founding SWR Stacey held senior roles at UBS, Cowen, Fulcrum Partners and Pali Capital. Stacey is an active Angel Investor, Board Member and Speaker. She spent a decade as a CNBC TV Retail Analyst and is a recognized top influencer in the industry.
